We Kenosha

One of our guiding principles is that older adults can continue to be productive and contribute to their community – no matter their age or abilities. As such, the We  Kenosha program offers a chance for Library Terrace Residents to continue to give back to the Kenosha community in a variety of ways.

The Alzheimer’s Association has been a Special focus for residents and staff. Together they have established the Annual Cruising for a Cause Classic Car show and fundraiser. Last year over 30 cars were on display at our campus with the staff and residents selling hot dogs and brats, running a bake sales and offering hand-made crafts for sale. There are other on-going projects throughout the year that allow the residents to be involved with supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. Another on-going project for the residents is making cozy, warm blankets for Women and Children’s Horizons – a Kenosha agency serving families affected by domestic violence. Residents take pride in their work, enjoy socializing with each and feel great that they can continue to be a vital part of greater Kenosha community through our We  Kenosha programs.

It feels like Home.  Very comfortable.  I enjoy the fact that I can live as independently as I am able but I still can get care when needed and I can socialize with the other residents.  The Staff are very caring.  They always go out of their way to be cheerful and helpful.

I am so grateful for the peace of mind knowing that my Mom is cared for 24 hours a day. I am also very appreciative of Kim (the Executive Director) and the other staff who worked with me to get her and all of her medical and insurance needs transitioned to living in assisted living.
